The e3 Company of Florida, LLC (dba the e3 Company) is a privately held organization founded by Dr. Al Koller to provide strategic and environmental management services, including planning, evaluation, and operational decision-making.  A key focus is education, and although he’s retired, he continues to write and consult.  He was a NASA system engineer and program manager at the Kennedy Space Center during Redstone, Apollo, Skylab, and Space Shuttle.  He contributed to a launch vehicle operations booklet, edited a summary of the creation of SpaceTEC – the NSF National Center of Excellence for Aerospace Technical Education, and wrote a compendium on space history that is published and sold on Amazon.  Check them out in the Space Exploration Books page.

Dr. Koller was the founding chair of a National Science Foundation Center of Excellence for Aerospace Technical Education that remains active in training and certifying aerospace technicians (https://spacetec.us). 

He is featured in training videos on YouTube (Spacetec11), and in When We Were Apollo, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission where he served in the Launch Firing Room as a member of the NASA Launch Team at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Dr. Koller’s latest ventures include working in the world of cryptocurrencies and sustainable environmental technology. As those disciplines evolve, he expects to see exciting work in AI control, life sciences, and the use of digital records for smart contracts and digital currencies enabling operations beyond national boundaries for living and working in space. 

Developing digital media that will work where borders don’t exist relate to his activities as the former Executive Director of the Community Colleges for International Development (CCID), a consortium of post-secondary educational institutions committed to creating globally engaged learning environments including student and faculty exchanges among member institutions internationally.
